Product testing:
The entire range of products is subjected to numerous internationally recognized tests to ensure they are suitable for the final installation. Additionally the FR treated fabric is tested at The Bombay Textile Research Association, Mumbai (BTRA Test Laboratories) for compliance with the standards as required by the customer. The fabric treated with FR chemical is effective against fire caused by the following.

Match or cigarette ignition
Equipment failure, which includes electrical short circuit or over heating of electric equipment.

Though the fabric is treated for Flame retardant properties routine fire safely systems like smoke detector, fire alarm etc should also be installed since it does not ensure fire retardancy against deliberate acts of ignition.
